$40m guaranteed across 46 events – another millionaire to be made
ONCHAN, Isle of Man – May 6, 2015 – The PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker is just four days away, and with the largest ever schedule – 46 events, 138 tournaments – the world’s richest online tournament championship looks set to break records once again. SCOOP 2015 runs from May 10-24 and is seeking to top last year’s record prize total of $81,222,158.66 over the 16 days of competition.
The highlight will be the two-day Main Event that starts May 24, with buy-ins of $109 (L), $1,050 (M) and $10,300 (H). More than 2,000 tickets (worth over $400,000) to the SCOOP Main Event tournaments will be given away on May 22 in a SCOOP All-in Shootout Deposit Raffle as part of the PokerStars Makes Millionaires campaign and the winner of the $10,300 Main Event will be guaranteed at least $1 million. SATELLITES
In addition, every one of the 138 tournaments has satellite qualifiers, meaning players can participate in SCOOP from just $0.11 or 1 FPP. Players can go to Main Lobby > Online Events > SCOOP in the PokerStars lobby to find the satellites.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR
SCOOP 2015 will reward the most consistent performers across the Championship with additional prizes, including more than $75,000 in World Championship of Online Poker 2015 tournament tickets, $20,000 in cash, and for the overall Leader Board winner, a PCA 2016 package.
